What is diffusion
Net movement of molecules/ions from an area of high concentration to an area of lower concentration

What is active transport
Movement of molecules using metabolic energy (ATP)

What is facilitated diffusion
Passive movement of molecules across membranes down their conc gradient aided by transport proteins

What is bulk transport
Movement of molecules cross a membrane by vesicles (ATP required)

Endocytosis
Formation of vesicles by plasma membrane which moves molecules INTO the cell

Exocytosis
Fusion of vesicles with plasma membrane which moves molecules OUT of the cell (If you also take chemistry remember exo and endo thermic)

What is osmosis
Movement of water molecules from a region of higher water potential to a region of lower water potential across a partially permeable membrane
