It involves the coach providing an explanation of movements, skills, tactic etc

It helps them to form a mental image of the skill.

It can be used for athletes who want to fine tune their performance

Verbal and visual. This way the athlete i able to see and listen to the coach to get a fuller picture of what needs to be done to improve performance.

No, can confuse the athlete with too much information in one go

What id the difference between manual and mechanical guidance?
Mechanical guidance is the use of equipment such as a harness whereas manual guidance is the physical support of an athlete by the coach.
