Describe a study on the Multi store explanation of memory
Aim: to see if rehearsal was necessary to hold information in the short term store. Participants were given sets of three letters to remember, such as GYK, but were immediately asked to count backwards in threes for different lengths of time.

What is the Levels of Processing explanation of memory? (LOP model)
Refers to how deeply you process information. First there is structural (the apearence of the word eg font) then there is phonetic (how a word sounds) the last and most deep level is semantic (we think of the meaning).

Altering our recollection of things so that they make more sense to us.
