Melody
A linear sequence of notes. It is a combination of pitch and rhythm.

The distance between two pitches.

Conjunct
A melody that moves by step.

Disjunct
A melody which moves in leaps, using larger intervals than a 2nd.

Chromatic
A Chromatic harmony uses notes from outside the key to colour the chords.
