-The subject is looking for you - Inviting you in, almost suggesting a close relationship between you and the subject

Sell line
Information on the cover of a magazine that tells the reader what extra they can get if they buy the magazine. Free gifts of competitions for example

Run down the side of the magazine to give the reader clues to what is inside the magazine. Persuade reader to buy and must link to genre.
