The religious belief that life is precious and has been created by God therefore holy and belonging to Him and needs to be protected.

IVF
A reproductive technology/method where an egg is removed, fertilised with sperm outside the body. After which the zygotes and embroos are allowed to form then implanted back into the body.

Artificial insemination by donor - A precedure where a sperm sample from an anonymous donor is deposited in the womb for fertilisation

AIH
Artificial insemination by husband - Where sperm samples from a woman's husband are deposited in her womb

Surrogacy
Using a third person to implant an embryo in with the parent's DNA. The embryo is often first fertilised before by IVF

Quality of life
The wellbeing of a person, their comfort, happiness and ability to perceive - sentience. Disabilities could arguably result in a poor quality of life.

Therapeutic (Stem cell) cloning
Creating clones to produce biological material (embryos) from which stem cells can be taken
