How do you add decimals?
Like a normal number

How do you multiply decimals?
1. ignore the decimals 2. multiply the numbers together 3. add up the number of decimal places in both numbers previously before taking them out 4. Put the same number of decimal places back into the number

How do you divide decimals?
1. write it down as a fraction 2. convert the decimals to a whole number by multiplying by a multiple of 10 3. Make sure you do the same to the bottom and top 4. continue to divide and that is your answer (don't put the decimals back in)

4 x 13=52, 0.0052

(2.05 x 1000)/(0.002 x 1000)=2050 x 2=1025
