How do you find what the percentage of something is?
'of' mean multiplication, so you would convert the percentage into a decimal and multiply it by the number

How do you increase a number by a percentage?
You add the percentage to 100% and then turn the number into a decimal and multiply that by the number you want to increase. This gives you the increased number
