P(A)
The probability of event A happening.

The probability of events A and B happening. Technical term: A intersection B.

P(A u B)
The probability of either A or B happening. Technical term: A union B.

P(A')
The probability of A not happening, in other words, the inverse of A

P(A | B)
The probability of A happening if B has already happened. Technical term: A given B.

The probability of B happening, but not A.

P(A' n B')
The probability of neither A or B happening.

P(A | B')
The probability of A happening if B failed to happen.

P'(A n B)
The probability of A and B not happening at the same time.

The probability of B not happening if A has happened.
