How do you cancel down fractions?
You divide the top and the bottom by the same number.

What are mixed numbers?
Mixed numbers have an integer part and a fraction part.

How do you multiply fractions?
You multiple the top and the bottom separately, by using common factors between the numbers.

How do you divide fractions?
You turn the 2nd fractions upside down, simplify and then multiply.

How do you work out the common denominator?
Find the LCM of the denominators, so find a number that all the denominators divide into.

How do you add or subtract fractions?
First turn the fractions inot improper fractions, then make sure the denominators are the same but finding the LCM, then *** or subtract the numerators only.

How do you find a fraction of a number?
You multiply the number by the top fraction and divide by the bottom fraction.
