To work out the range find the difference between the highest and lowest numbers .

put the numbers in order. Then count how many of each number. A number that appears most often is the mode

In order to calculate the median, the data must first be ranked (sorted in ascending order). The median is the number in the middle. Median = the middle value of a set of ordered data.
