What is mass?
A measure of amount of a substance. Mass is independent of where we are, for example it stays the same on other planets.

Weight is a force caused by gravity. The weight of something can vary depending on the strength of gravity.

Newtons (N)

How are mass and weight related?
On earth, the strength of gravity is 10 N/kg. This means that every kg of mass feels a force of 10N due to gravity.
