Small wealthy and powerful class of owners of the means of production, their purpose is to make profit

Larger but poorer class of on-owners, they have no means of living other than to sell their labour to the bourgeoisie in exchange for wage or salary.

If she/he performs more labour than needed to produce the goods they need

The conflict that arises between different social classes. It is generally used to describe the conflict between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat in Marxist view of society
