Adding metal/metal oxide/metal carbonate to an acid
1. Add an excess of the metal/metal oxide/metal carbonate and stir until all reactants have been used up. 2. Filter the excess. 3. Heat gently until crystals start to form. 4.Leave in a warm place for crystallisation to occur

Acid + Alkali
1. Pipette 25cm3 of alkali into a conical flask. 2. Add indicator 3. Fill burette with acid, note starting volume. 4. Add the acid to the alkali. 5. Stop adding acid when the indicator changes colour
