?
What is the Morse Code
The Morse Code uses a series of dots and dashes to represent letters of the alphabet.
1 of 6
What is the Morse Code an example of?
Digital signal.
2 of 6
What features of transmission methods should be considered?
Whether or not the signal can be seen by others, whether or not wires can be cut, how far signals must travel.
3 of 6
What is white light made from?
White light is made from different colours of different frequencies out of phase.
4 of 6
What are the properties of laser light?
Laser light only has a single frequency, is in phase and shows a low divergence.
5 of 6
How is laser light used to read the surface of a compact disc?
The CD surfaces has lands and pits on it. The pits represent the digital signal. The laser light is shone onto the CD surface and reflected off. This reflection provides the information for the digital signal.
