Dualist-The Soul is distinct from the body. Soul has prexisting knowledge from the eternal World of the Forms. Soul has three main aspects-Reason, Spirit and desire. Harmony of the soul is a virtue. Argument from knowledge and from opposites.

"I think therefore I am" MInd is seperate from body. We experienec ourselves as thinking beings distinct from our bodies.

The soul is the formal cause of the body. It is the axe's ability to chop, what gives the body direction and purpose. Not seperate. Different faculties of the soul-Plants have only faculty of nutrition-animals nutrition and desire. Humans-reason.
