People need balanced diet to stay healthy. Varied and appetizing food also contributes to a good quality of life. t is important not to exceed the energy intake required for our needs as this could result in health problems.

Physical Safety and Hygiene-
Physical safety refers to the absence of serious risk of injury. Hygiene means the absence of risk of infection. Care staff have to take the necessary precautions to reduce risk of health and safety.
