Dualism
The idea that there are two aspects to human beings, the physical and the mental. The mental may be identified with the soul.

The state of being free from suffering and the cycle of rebirth

Literally meaning ‘release’ or ‘liberation’ in Hinduism this refers to the final escape from the continuous cycle of death and rebirth, which is known as Samsara.
