Chronis progresses slowly over the course of many years whereas actue develops quickly

What are the symptoms of leukaemia?
Swollen spleen, unexplained weight loss, tiredness, breathlessness, weakness, repeated infections over a short space of time, swollen lymph nodes, easily bruised skin, pale skin, excessive sweating, bone and joint pain

What can cause leukaemia?
Smoking, radiation exposure, genetics, past chemotherapy, mother drinking alcohol during pregnancy

How is it treated?
Bone marrow transplant, stem cell transplant, block protein that helps stimulates growth of cancer, chemotherapy tablets or through vein, radiotherapy
