Gender behaviour is learnt from the same-sex role models (i.e. a son will take influence from his father) and abnormal gender behaviour (e.g. a boy playing with barbie) will be punished and therefore considered improper behaviour

Prestigious role models (supermodels) are focused on for their thin appearance and therefore influence same-sex youths and create the idea that anorexia leads to fame and success
