Pavlov
Pavlov rang a bell which the dog had no reflex to. But everytime his assistant brought food he rang the bell which then became associated with the food. This meant eventually that whenever the bell was rang the dog would salivate.

Skinner (positive reinforcement)
Placed a hungry rat in the skinners box, this box had a lever which the rat would accidently knock over releasing food (this acted as a positive reinforcement) . The rats learned to go straight to the lever after a few times for food.

Skinner (negative reinforcement)
Rat in a skinner box was subjected to an unpleasant shock which caused them disfunction, furthermore the rat would accidentally knock over the lever making the electric current switch off.

Aim- investigate if children will imitate agression in an adult model and also discover to which extent the gender of the model has an influence on the child to imitate.

Findings- Children that observed aggressive behaviour acted aggressively also boys acted more aggressive then girls.

Conclusion- Children learn behavious by observing others behaviours. This is also likely to happen from a model with the same gender.

Method- 36 males and females were subdivided by gender to observe either an aggressive or non aggressive model which were of both genders. In a room there was a bobo doll, hammer and toys.
