What is an Autocratic Leadership?
A style of leadership that keeps all decision-making at the centre of the organisation. (e.g. armed forces)

What is a Paternalistic Leadership?
A type of fatherly style, typically used by dominant males where their power is used to control & protect subordinate employees who are expected to be loyal & obedient.

What is a Democratic Leadership?
A leadership style that promotes the active participation of workers in taking decisions.

What is a Laissez-faire Leadership?
A leadership style that leaves much of the business decision-making to the workforce - a 'hands-off' approach and the reverse of the autocratic style

What is a Situational Leadership?
An effective leadership that varies with the task at hand and situational leaders adapt their leadership style to each situation.
