Childrens Act 1989
Designed to protect children in a number of venues i.e. supervised activities where adults must be DBS checked to ensure the saftey of the children.

Staff must know the procedure for treating injured people where record must be kept of any incidents taking place.

Looks at the storage, preperation as well as handling of food in an organisation, this is in order to keep the public safe from the likes of food posioning ect.

COSHH
Covers hazardous substances in a work place. A COSHH assessor must be appointed and trained to assess risk as well as keep a record of the substacnes kept. A record of substances kept must be apparent.
