Lexis
Vocab of language. Linked words are known as lexical fields.

Discourse Structure
An extended piece of spoken or written language, made up of more than one utterance (spoken) or sentence (written).

Graphology
The study of the appearance of writing and its effect. When discussing, describe and analyse features like typeface, positioning of text and the relationship between text and images.

Phonology
Study of sounds in English- how they're produced and combined to make words. Includes Non-Verbal Aspects of Speech (NVAS) or prosody - spoken features like pace, stress, rhythm and intonation.
