Inconsistent use. Consistent use but misapplied (virtuos error, overgeneralisation). Consistent usage.

That parents place object words at the end of sentences and pronounce them loudly to give them prominence.

Parents tend to exaggerate inotation and their pitch seems to be higher when attempting to teach children words.

Jim was born with deaf parents, his parents didn't want him to be deprived and only know sign laguage, so they put him in front of a TV so he could learn english.

Jim learn many words, but was not able to put them into fully grammatical sentences

What is Berko's Wug test theory (1958)?
Berko showed some children a picture of a made up creature and called it a wug. He then showed another picture of the same creature. 'Look there are two of them now, there are two...' encouraging them to complete the sentence.

What is Berko and Brown's theory (1960)?
The fis phenomenon. A child attempts to say 'fish' but says 'fis'. He then gets frustrated when his parent says 'fis' as he means 'fish'
