EVALUATE: reliability
tight controls and standardised procedure. repeatability with same results produced probably.
4 of 6
EVALUATE: validity
not real life attention levels or emotions. low ecological and task validity: wouldn't completely reflect a police EWT interview.

EVALUATE: ethics
participants aware they are part of the experiment and so consent and right to withdraw usually given. this is important because it can be a traumatising topic to study. not informed consent because demand characteristics.
