Rate of Reaction
Reaction rate, the speed at which a chemical reaction proceeds, it is often expressed in terms of either concentration (amount per unit volume) of a product that is formed in a unit of tine.

Inital rate of reaction
The initial rate of a reaction is the instantaneous rate at the start of the reaction (i.e., when t = 0).
