Define: Numinous
The feeling of the presence of something greater than you

Define: Conversion
When your life is changed by giving yourself to God

Define: Miracle
Something which seems to break the laws of science and makes you think only God could have done it

Define: Prayer
An attempt to contact God - usually through words

Define: Design
When things are connected and seem to have a purpose (e.g. the eye is designed for seeing)

Define: Causation
The idea that everything has been caused (started off) by something else

Define: Agnosticism
Not being sure whether God exists

Define: Atheism
Believing God does not exist

Define: Moral Evil
Actions done by humans which cause suffering

Define: Natural Evil
Things that have caused suffering but have nothing to do with humans (e.g. earthquakes)

Define: Omnipotent
[The belief that God is] All Powerful

Define: Benevolent
[The belief that God is] All Loving/good/kind
