Britain and France race to gain control of an area in Africa. They decided diplomatically that France would gain control of Morocco and Britain recieved Sudan. Significance= improved relations between Britain and France.

Agreement in 1908 between B + F to give Morocco to F. Germany were frustrated so tried to overtake. Significance= agreed that F ran country and collonial matters and G ran economy.

2nd Moroccan Crisis
F took control of the economy. G sent a gun boat with the Kaiser to Morocco to get local support. Significance= resulted in B helping with formal agreement, sided with F to have full control but only gave G the congo. B and F now closer allies.

Bosnian Crisis 1908
Biggest threat was A-H as it was landlocked so expanded into balkans. Agreed with R to annex Bosnia if they support R's ships. AH dont stick to the deal. Significance= R says if there is another issue with balkans they wont back down from AH.
