What is a Stroke?
loss of consciousness caused by an interruption in the flow of blood to the brain, especially through thrombosis.

What is Coronary Artery Disease?
blockage of one or more arteries that supply blood to the heart, usually due to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).

What is Alzheimer's?
A degenerative brain disease. Starts in late middle age or in old age, that results in progressive memory loss, impaired thinking, disorientation, and changes in personality and mood.

What is a hearing impairment?
It occurs when you lose part or all of your ability to hear. The severity of hearing impairment can be mild, moderate, severe, or profound.

A decreased ability to see to a degree that causes problems not fixable.

It's a gentic condition. Extra chromosome #1.

What is Translocation?
A chromosome abnormality caused by rearrangement of parts between chromosomes. In DS, an extra piece of chromosome 21 attaches itself to another chromosome.
