What is external reliability?
How consistently a measure measures something over a time e.g whether the study can be replicated and the same results found

What is internal realibility?
How consistent the study is within itself e.g participants has been tested in the same way and has responded in the same way

What is inter-rater reliability?
When two observers who have observed the same participants have got the same reesults

What is test-retest?
Way of measuring external reliability, the same participant is given the same test at two different points

What is split half?
Way of observing internal reliability in self-reports or experiment: the test items for the same participant will be divided in half and the results from each half will be compared to see if they're the same
