She married John. This angered Hugh Le Brun and the Lusigan family. They turned to Philip II in anger.

In 1104- not long after he succeeded in getting Normandy and Rouen too.

10 years- it was not untill 1214 that John went on his campaign.

Why did John not do anything for 10 years?
He was in conflict with the church and with his territories in the British Isles. Both of these needed to be sorted first before he could return to France. Also the Barons didn't like his which was a further complication.

The Battle of Bouvines, in Poitou. Philip won.

What happened in September 1914?
After the battle of Bouvines, many of Johns remainding force desserted him. John agreed to a truce with Philip. He sailed to England and never returned again.
