Approach: Individual differences
Assumption: Behaviour that deviates from the norm is considered abnormal. What makes us individual such as personality makes us act differently. 2)

Assumption: Behaviour can be explained by physiological changes in the brain. This approach looks at the brain, nervous system,hormones etc.

Assumption: Behaviour is influenced by the situation that the person finds themselves in, it occurs in a social context and is influenced by the people around us.
