what is DNA?
it is a long list of chemical instructions on how to build an organism
3 of 13
what is a gene?
it is a short section of a chromosome (and so a short section of DNA)
4 of 13
what do genes control?
they control many of our characteristics e.g. hair colour, eye colour etc

what do genes work in?
they work in pairs, one is normally dominant over the other
