Information can be used for either marketing or decision making within organisations, but in each case it needs to be precise, correct, truthful.

Companies considering entering into eCommerce, may pay a website designer to investigate their options and send a written report based on their findings. An organisation may struggle to make decisions, if the report consists of complicated jargon!
Timely

It is essential that information is presented when it is needed, particularly if important decisions need to be made, the information should be on hand to do so.
If a company is planning to relocate to a new area, they may ask their staff to research current transport links - its crucial that this information is on hand to ensure the correct decision is made.
