Partnership between IP and SP and patient. Sp can prescribe as long as agreed by Doctor, and patient as part of their CLINICAL MANAGEMENT PLAN

Experts in the meds. Most accessible HCP. will see patients x8 more reg than GPs

2 years as registered pharmacist . Pg course- 26 days , 12 training days . Must pick area of specialty

Do IPs need GP/Dr approval?
No- but must only prescibe in their area of clinical expertise, they must know when to refer back to the specialist

Monitoring
If u start a patient on medication, it is essential that you follow up and monitor them
