The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are the stages followed to create a new ICT System.
The SDLC is made up of 8 stages.

The first stage is System Investigation.
The second stage is known as Analysis.

The third stage is known as Design.
The fourth stage is known as Create Solution / Implementation.
3 of 6
The fifth stage is known as Testing.
The sixth stage is known as Changeover / Installation / Implementation.

The Systems Analyst is the person who follows the stages of the SDLC to create a new ICT system for a client.
When the eighth stage of Review / Evaluation is completed the life cycle may begin again as it is a cycle.

The seventh stage is known as Maintenance.
The eighth stage is known as Review / Evaluation.
