what is a HTML?
a special code that is used for making web pages. HTML consists of special markers called tags to tell the computer what to do when the text is entred.

there is a need to have standard colour system so that the computer can produce the same colour on the screen, the amounts of red, green and blue are expressed as numbers which range from 0-255. mixing lights is different to mixing pigments.

1. some features such as flash movies can take time to load and this can put off some users from using the site. 2. people who do not have access to the internet are at a huge disadvantage
