Vector Graphics
An image based on a mathmatical formula, and do not loose clarity when resized. The file is small, but the image quality is worse than a bitmap image.

An image made up of a series of dots. Provide good, clear images in detail, they can become pixelated when resized and have a large file size.

A banner is used on a product to draw attention and often includes the company name.

Pre Vis
A detailed design of a back for a movie and is showing the scene.

Storyboard
A storyboard is a design document which shows the detailed layout screen by screen of a digital product.

Script
A word for word document that says what is going to be said. e.g for a podcast or play.

Timeline Storyboard
A storyboard that includes a timeline on, e.g for a film and shows the amount of time each scene will be played for.

Mock Up
A model or full scale example of what a product will look like without content.

User interface
This is the interface allows the user to interact with the software and hardware.

Test Plan
A list of the test that are going to be performed on a digital product to check is is fully functional.

The design area is divided into 3 main sections to ensure layout is balanced.

Version numbering shows the difference between old and new versions of a digital product.

This is where a person who creates an image etc retains copyright but licenses them for others to use.
