What is Peer to Peer networking
In a Peer to Peer network, no single provider is responsible for being the server. Each computer stores files and acts as a server. Each computer has equal responsibility for providing data.

A- All files are stored in a central location, which is very powerful. You can install software on the server and it will share everywhere. You can log in to your account from any PC (hot desking)

D- A specialist network operating system is needed. The server is expensive to purchase. If any part of the network fails a lot of disruption can occur

A LAN covers a small area such as one site or building, eg a school or a college. A WAN covers a large geographical area

A- a lot of material provided for free. Instant media playback, so you don't need to wait for files to download. D- you may have to put up with a lot of advertising on the website. It is reliant on a good Internet connection
