Introduced the idea of therapy focusing on the client finding their way to their purpose in life through 3 aspects: Achievement, Transcendence and Attitude towards negative situations.

The feeling that you can achieve and have achieved, feeling confident and comfortable in your own capabilities.

Transcendence
Also named enlightenment, this is a state within ones self whereby they feel like their soul have transgressed beyond this physical world and that they feel content and complete.(reference to William James?)

Attitude to unavoidable sufferring
when avoiding sufferring is not an option, the ability to handle such situations and preparing for the worst and not expecting it will come in useful.

Latent and Subjective
All of these theories and approaches to psychology would be difficult to research due to the extraneous variables that would follow and inability to measure concepts such as self actualization etc.

Cultural Imperialism
These ideas come from people who grew up in a westernised culture, to impose them on the whole world is ineffective because what is actualization to the western culture, may not be to the eastern culture.
