How are carbohydrates and fats stored in the body?
Carbohydrates are converted from glucose and stored in the liver as glycogen, whilst fats are stored under the skin and around organs as adipose tissue. Proteins are not stored and are only used as energy if carbohydrates & fats are in short supply.
