6. FSH

• made in the corpus luteum; maintains uterus lining and when it falls the lining breaks down
• made in the pituitary; stimulates release of a mature egg and causes release of progesterone.
• made in the pituitary; makes eggs mature in the ovaries and stimulates release of oestrogen
• made in the ovaries; causes the build up of the uterus, stops the release of FSH and causes the release of LH
