Enabling Act - Hitler can pass whatever laws he wants, and no-one can stop him. SS intimidate others to let him pass this law

Local Government reorganised - Nazis in control of everything - Gestapo also created

Trade Unions banned - Workers have no say in their working conditions etc, Hitler has control now

Concordat - Hitler promises to leave Catholic Church alone - Pope now likes Hitler (they hate communists together)

Political Parties banned - now you can't not vote for the Nazis

People's Courts set up - Now Hitler controls the justice system, as judges have to swear an oath of loyalty to him

Night of the Long Knives - The SA is 'purged' which means Hitler has those who oppose his ideas murdered - they want to be radical socialists but he still needs the support of those like the army (not until 1938 does he really control the Army)

Fuhrer - two weeks after Hindenburg conveniently dies (hmm...) Hitler is declared Chancellor and President - he really rules Germany now
