Define Nobility
Was a social rank, the quality of being noble in character, mind birth or rank.

Define Feudalism
This is the dominant social system in medieval Europe, each rank was given by the throne

Define attainder
Means 'taintedness' e.g. civil rights and land suffered for sentences of treason

Define gentry
The class of people in a good social position, below the nobility, in position because of birth right

Define Wardship
A guardian to someone, in the state of being a ward to someone, for example someone who has not yet come of age.

The faith, practice and church of the protestant order.

The support given by a patron, the power to control appointments to office or the right to privilege.

The throne rights is appointed and chosen by God.
