What was Woodrow Wilson's character like?
Idealist and reformer. Concentrated on keeping his country out of war.

He was under great pressure to make Germany pay. His aim was to weaken Germany as his country had felt threatened by them ever since 1870.

Realist and experienced politician. Knew there would have to be comprimise.
