3,00 soilders marched towards the centre of munich, 100 police blocked the path, nazis ran forward and shouted at police, hitler dislocated his shoulder, he ran but was then arrested 2 days later

fail: didnt work- no nazis killed in munich, hitler in prision (under 9 months) success: publicity for hitler and nazis, shows he had support, wrote a book, good speaker at trial lots of people turned up for the trial
