Roosevelt died and was replaced by Truman. Churchill voted out and replaced by Attlee. Russia expanded westward in Finland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Baltic states

Stalin wanted to control Eastern Europe and did not want elections there. USA and Britian suspected this. But because Truman and Attlee were new in post Stalin though he could do what he wanted
