Medically trained at University and had to pass exams, expensive to hire (so the Rich would mainly use), Very few of them were Women.

No Training, Carried out bloodletting, pulling teeth, lancing boils, Hair Cuts, amputating limbs (very low success rates)

What did Monks and Nuns do and what training did they have?
Ran hospitals using Church donations. Cared for the elderly and poor rather than people with disease.
