The Tudor rose, to show the unity of the Yorkists( EofY) and Lancaster(HVII). It was red and white showing both colours and was placed everywhere to show everyone that the war of the roses was finally over.

German towns which dominated trade in the Baltic. Henry wanted to break these up so a navigation act was passed 1485-86 so that more English ships could carry goods.

Truce of Ayton?
He wanted to rectify relationship with Scotland so they didn't have enemies in south and north. so in 1497 and in 1502 the treaty was made. Hostility was completely over when his daughter married James of Scotland 1503.

Arthur's death in 1502 and Elizabeth's death in 1503 these devastated him and removed his yorkist connection so dynasty was now dependent on prince Henry.
